Benesch is seeking a Municipal Engineering intern for Summer 2027 based in our Detroit, MI office. You’ll join a team working on municipal projects, including design tasks, field inspections, and related engineering activities, with guidance from experienced professionals.

The internship emphasizes hands-on learning, exposure to client projects, and development of technical and communication skills, with mentorship and real project impact.

Competenze

• Pursuing your bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Construction, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage assignments efficiently and maintain organizational skills.
• Strong interest in infrastructure, water waste/sewer, and hydraulic or related areas.
• Ability to handle job demands, including lifting 25lbs and working in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
