Gilmore and Associates, Inc. is hiring a Municipal Engineer in Pennsylvania to design, plan, and implement municipal projects in New Britain and Newtown.

You will work with project managers and other engineers to ensure regulatory compliance, timelines, and budgets while engaging with community stakeholders. The role emphasizes site assessments, engineering calculations, detailed reports, and strong communication in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer license in Pennsylvania is preferred.
• 2+ years of Municipal Engineering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Market, sell and cross-sell professional services for municipal projects.
• Assist Project Manager to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Attend required public meetings (Planning Commission, Board of Supervisors, Zoning Hearing Board).
• Provide design services and project management for municipal capital improvement projects.
• Prepare Federal and State regulatory permit applications and plans.
• Prepare bid plans and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations, construction observation, and field reconnaissance.
• Review subdivision and land development plans for compliance with ordinances.
• Prioritize and manage multiple clients/projects.
