Gilmore & Associates is seeking a Municipal Engineer to support projects in New Britain and Newtown, PA. This onsite role focuses on design, planning, and implementation of municipal projects, collaborating with project managers and engineers.

You will conduct site assessments, perform engineering calculations, and prepare detailed reports ensuring regulatory compliance, timelines, and budgets. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or PA-Registered Professional Engineer.
• 2+ years of Municipal Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Market, sell and cross-sell professional services for all disciplines and offices.
• Assist Project Manager to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Attend public meetings such as Planning Commission and Zoning boards.
• Provide design services and project management on municipal capital projects.
• Prepare regulatory permit applications and plans.
• Prepare bid plans and specifications.
• Perform site investigations, construction observation and field reconnaissance.
• Review subdivision and land development plans for code compliance.
• Prioritize and manage multiple clients and projects.
