Key responsibilities:

  1. Designing public infrastructure such as roads, bridges, water supply, sewers, drainage, parks, and buildings
  2. Reviewing developments to ensure compliance with city rules and regulations
  3. Developing Capital Improvement Plans (CIPs) to identify the city's most critical needs
  4. Managing infrastructure budgets and applying for funding from state, regional, and federal sources
  5. Providing technical support to departments and managing data acquisition

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  2. 4-10 years of relevant municipal engineering experience, including project management
  3. PE preferred, EIT required
  4. Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations affecting municipal projects
  5. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, government agencies, and community groups
