Qualificações

• Three years of heavy customer service experience, including interpreting and enforcing specialized codes/ordinances.
• Six months of experience investigating code violations and issuing citations.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and a Code Enforcement Officer certification (TDLR).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed inspections of properties to ensure compliance with structural, zoning, and health codes.
• Investigate, identify, and address code violations with technical judgement.
• Educate and collaborate with citizens, property owners, developers, and business operators on code requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, violations, and enforcement actions; prepare reports for legal proceedings.
• Provide testimony in court cases related to complex code violations and coordinate with other departments as needed.
