Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Multidisciplinary Civil Engineer for our Bossier City, LA office to support a variety of municipal projects across Louisiana.

You will perform 2D/3D analyses, prepare plans and bid documents, and design stormwater facilities while maintaining clear client communication. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a preference for passing the Fundamentals exam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Passing the Fundamentals test is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for municipal projects.
• Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for bidding of construction projects.
• Performs analysis and design of stormwater management facilities for roadway drainage.
• Follows safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
• Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project.
• Prepares engineering studies and reports.
• Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools.
