Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. in Bossier City, LA is hiring a Multidisciplinary Civil Engineer to work on municipal projects across Louisiana. You will perform 2D/3D analysis and design, prepare plans and bid documents, and contribute to stormwater design for roadways.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and may prefer Fundamentals of Engineering certification. We offer a supportive, diverse environment with growth opportunities and flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Passing of the Fundamentals test is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for municipal projects.
• Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects.
• Performs analysis and design of stormwater management facilities for roadway drainage.
• Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
• Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project.
• Prepares engineering studies and reports.
• Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools.

Description

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Multidisciplinary Civil Engineer for our Bossier City, LA office to work on a variety of Municipal projects throughout Louisiana.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

• Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for municipal projects.
