Ayres Associates is seeking a Municipal Manager to lead a diverse team of project managers, engineers, designers, and technical staff in Florida. You will shape the group’s strategic direction, nurture client relationships, and mentor employee-owners to grow the division.

A strong Florida market network and PE licensure are highly valued. You’ll drive business development, oversee project delivery, and ensure quality while representing the firm in community and professional circles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• 10+ years of experience in a consulting or engineering firm and proven staff supervision.
• Strong business development skills and a solid client network.
• Self-motivated and performance-driven with excellent people skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Registered PE in Florida is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop long-range strategic plans, annual business plans, and group marketing plans with focus on P&L and staff development.
• Supervise project managers, engineers, technicians, and other specialists; guide staff development.
• Lead business development, client contact, marketing, and client satisfaction initiatives.
• Represent Ayres in the community and professional organizations; build client relationships.
• Coordinate with other divisions to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Prepare contracts, scopes of work, schedules, and fee estimates; oversee QA/QC.
