Job summary

PCSI is looking for a General Maintenance Worker for our Structures Department at the Fort Knox, Kentucky contract. You will perform minor adjustments and repairs to plumbing, electrical, waste systems, architectural and structural components, doors, windows, floors, and light carpentry, along with preventative maintenance and paperwork completion.

This position reports to the Structures supervisor and is based in Ft. Knox, KY with typical hours Monday–Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance tasks and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor adjustments and repairs to plumbing, electrical, and building components.
• Maintain mechanical rooms and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Replace and repair doors, windows, ceilings, flooring, and roofing as needed.
• Manufacture, repair, and install screens and glass components.
• Document work performed and ensure proper paperwork completion.
• Carry out snow and ice removal operations when required.
• Inspect and patch walls, apply finishes, and perform painting as needed.
