Job summary

Facility Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to keep our buildings and equipment running smoothly. You’ll work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems to prevent downtime and extend asset life.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues effectively.
• Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Good verbal and written communication to report on activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Install new equipment and systems in accordance with safety standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies with prioritization based on urgency.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and activities.
