Job summary

R&D Maintenance Services, Inc. is seeking a versatile Maintenance Technician in Columbus, MS. The role involves performing a range of trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, and machinery maintenance to support USACE projects along the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable work experience in building, facility, machinery maintenance, or construction trades.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check, MVR, and drug/alcohol screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with routine maintenance, repair, or construction tasks on machinery, buildings, structures, and utility systems.
• Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with installation work and secure materials as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Operate maintenance vehicle as required and maintain a clean work area.
• Work indoors and outdoors and follow safety and quality programs.
