Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform general maintenance and repair work at customer facilities under a federal AbilityOne contract. The role involves painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and related tasks, with emphasis on safe work practices and reliability.

You will travel between facilities, use hand and power tools, and complete tasks from replacement of fixtures to upkeep of buildings.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience in general building maintenance or ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to manage materials and time effectively.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Effective communication with staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings across trades.
• Replace electrical components, patch walls, repair plumbing, and paint structures.
• Maintain and operate equipment and assist with sign-making tasks.
• Travel frequently between facilities as required.
• Purchase and transport necessary supplies as charged to the company.
