Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform diverse duties across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and building systems within our facilities.

The role requires strong collaboration with trades and outside contractors, strict adherence to safety standards, and ability to document maintenance and safety inspections in line with Joint Commission regulations. Training in fire safety and chemical hygiene is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in trade applications or mechanical work (auto/industrial/hospitality).
• One year of experience if a trade or vocational school graduate (non-trade specific).
• None.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and building systems.
• Collaborates with other trades and outside contractors as needed.
• Maintains safety standards and reports faulty equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Maintains records to ensure compliance with regulations and Joint Commission standards.
• Coordinates fire and life safety inspections and related documentation.
• Trains and assists other engineering staff as required.
• Keeps work areas clean and adheres to safety policies.
