Job summary

The University of Denver is seeking a skilled trades technician in Facilities Management to perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. Working with minimal supervision, you will read blueprints, follow sketches, and maintain campus facilities.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, seven years of three-trade experience, a valid Colorado driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Knowledge of CMMS such as WebTMA is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Seven years experience in three trades (carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical).
• Valid Colorado drivers license and insurability under University guidelines.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and lift 100 lbs.
• Experience with CMMS software (WebTMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance across at least three trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Install/replace ceilings, floors, tiles, doors, hardware, and related fittings.
• Operate power tools and equipment as required.
• Assist with snow removal and emergency response as needed.
• Read blueprints and work from sketches or layouts.
• Travel to sites with tools and equipment.
