Job summary

Savio House in Grand Junction, CO seeks Multisystemic Therapy (MST) therapists to deliver in-home services for youth 12-17 and to work with families in the community.

This role offers supervision towards licensure, paid MST training, a flexible/autonomous schedule, a small caseload of 5–6 families, and a supportive team environment with benefits including PTO, health coverage, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field.
• Bachelor’s with extensive experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
• DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain small, intensive caseload of 5-6 families.
• Conduct therapy in the community, in family’s homes.
• Use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, Structural and Strategic Family Therapies.
• Prevent out of home placement/incarceration.
• Break cycle of system involvement
• Empower families to create lasting change
• Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment.
• Meet weekly for group supervision and expert consultation.

Education

Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field
