Job summary

McAlister's Deli in Knoxville is hiring an Hourly Team Member to support dining room operations across several roles. Responsibilities include food running, bussing, dishwashing, prep, and line cook duties as assigned by management.

This position is based at our franchised location on Morrell Road. A friendly, team-oriented candidate who can follow safety and sanitation policies and deliver great guest service is encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to guests in the dining room and ensure they have what they need
• Refill drinks and respond to guest requests after the food has been delivered
• Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
• Other duties as requested by management
• Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning tables and chairs (bussers)
• Maintains dining room by cleaning floors and removing trash
• Keeps kitchen areas clean for dishwashing and prep
• Prepares foods for cooking based on prep lists and manager directions
• Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
• Reads orders and prepares items quickly and accurately
• Cleans and restocks station at start/end of shift, ensures quality and quantity of food
