Job summary

Amrecco is seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Operations Manager for an in-office role based in JFK, NY. The role oversees multi-state U.S. payroll, HR operations, reporting, and benefits administration, requiring strong analytical & problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in payroll and HR operations, with proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems, and advanced Excel. Bilingual English/Mandarin is a plus. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll and HR operations experience.
• Strong experience managing multi-state U.S. payroll.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (TriNet, Paychex, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Experience with 401(k) administration and employee benefits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end multi-state U.S. payroll operations.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
• Prepare HR and payroll reports, reconciliations, and data analysis.
• Administer 401(k) and employee benefits.
• Support onboarding, off-boarding, HR operations, and compliance.
• Partner with HR, Finance, payroll providers, and other stakeholders to improve processes.
