Job summary

Venza Care is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (DON) to provide temporary clinical leadership across our skilled nursing centers nationwide. This role requires stepping into centers during vacancies, stabilizing operations, and ensuring high-quality resident care while coordinating with regional leadership.

Extensive travel across eight states is expected, with focus on survey readiness, CMS compliance, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing.
• Experience with CMS regulations and survey readiness.
• Ability to travel extensively across multiple states.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim DON coverage in assigned centers during vacancies or transitions.
• Oversee nursing operations, regulatory compliance, and clinical documentation.
• Drive QAPI initiatives and quality outcome improvements.
• Support survey readiness and regulatory reviews across states.
• Mentor center nursing teams and build strong cross‑functional collaboration.
