Job summary

i9 Sports - Ward is seeking a Sports Coordinator to enhance the youth sports experience by building relationships with players, parents, and coaches and ensuring instructional quality across practices and games.

You will observe, assess, and assist coaches, participating hands-on with practices and games for all ages and skill levels, while maintaining safety and fun as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Experience working with youth aged 3–6 preferred.
• Highly motivated self-starter; able to work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to take charge to ensure players' safety.
• Positive attitude with strong ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and some evenings (season ~7 weeks).
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focused on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values.
• Supervise the overall operation of the program on game day.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and deliver superior customer service.

Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands‑on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.
