Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Sports Coordinator in North Carolina to enhance the experience for players and families. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches and ensure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered.

Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands‑on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge expected.
• Highly motivated self-starter able to work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to take charge to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work weekends and some evenings for the season (~7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
• Supervise the overall operation of the designated sport on game day.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
