Qualifications

• Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care across multiple specialties.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, including collecting patient histories and focused physical assessments, and contribute to care plans.
• Assist in implementing medical care plans by carrying out provider-directed interventions, treatments, and follow-upActivities.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and support diagnostic workflows.
• Review and interpret lab and diagnostic results and communicate findings to patients and providers per guidelines.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding disease management, medications, and wellness promotion.
• Administer medications and immunizations safely and accurately per orders and protocols.
• Support care coordination, including patient follow-up and referrals for continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and adherence to infection prevention protocols.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation within the EHR per regulatory and organizational standards.
• Respond to clinical emergencies within RN scope, including initiating BLS and triage.
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and competency validation activities.
