Avanta Health is seeking Specialist & Primary Care Physicians to join our multispecialty clinic in Fountain Valley, CA. We welcome physicians from family/internal/general practice, cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, pulmonology, geriatrics and other specialties.

The role involves collaborative care within a growing clinical team and a commitment to preventative, patient-centered care. We offer a full-time onsite position with competitive compensation and potential sign-on incentives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution and board certification/eligibility.
• Successful residency completion in the physician's area of practice.
• Current DEA registration if required for the role.
• Active BLS certification and other relevant certifications.
• Ability to practice independently within the specialty and scope.
• Vietnamese-speaking ability is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management within the specialty.
• Perform medical histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education.
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions within the scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Order, review, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Support efficient clinic operations and patient flow.
• Participate in quality improvement, care management, and population health initiatives.
• Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system and follow-up care.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical workflows and patient access.
• Maintain professional conduct, ethics, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other related clinical duties as needed.
