Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• ED experience preferred with established ED skill set.
• Telemetry competency.
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work across multiple departments.
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC preferred or required within timeframe.
• Previous dialysis experience preferred; on‑the‑job training available.

Responsibilities

• Float Nurse provides care across multiple departments: ED, Surgical Services, Specialty Clinic, Medical‑Surgical, Dialysis.
• Participate in ED rotation and every third weekend.
• Cross-train in pre‑op and post‑op care.
• Cross-train in specialty clinics, including cardiac stress testing.
• Provide telemetry monitoring and patient‑centered care across the interdisciplinary team.
