Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Five or more years experience with machines, machine drawing, assemblies.
• Ability to read blueprints and precision instruments.
• Formal welding classes or 3+ years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates machines to produce parts per quality standards and timelines.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings and bills of materials.
• Performs layout, setup and operation of machines with precision tooling according to ISO 9001.
• Coordinates plans with other operators for specific jobs.
• Assembles components per procedures and drawings; may weld, test, adjust parts.
• Cleans and prepares parts for painting or finishing operations; operates painting equipment.
• Covers other departments as needed and backfills shifts.
