Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a maintenance professional to support our properties with hands-on upkeep and timely service delivery. A strong focus on safety, organization, and teamwork will help ensure residents enjoy well-maintained living spaces and common areas.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. HVAC certification is preferred, with on-site responsibilities across the community and after-hours availability for

Responsibilities

• Minimum 2-3 years maintenance experience.
• Identify and report to management issues involving the employees, property or residents
• Timely complete service requests in occupied apartments
• Turn vacant apartments to make them ready for leasing
• Repair or replace window glass and screens
• Paint and/or touch up paint as needed
• Carpentry tasks including drywall, doors, trim molding, cabinets, countertops, tile work, etc.
• Basic electrical work including replacing switches, receptacles, GFCIs; installing fixtures
• Basic appliance repairs including stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, washers and dryers
• Basic plumbing work including faucets, sinks, water heaters, leaks
• HVAC repairs and troubleshooting; EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification preferred
• Maintain exterior and common area lighting; replace bulbs and fixtures
• Remove ice and snow for safety
• Perform general grounds duties and routine preventative maintenance
• Complete work required by municipalities and building inspectors
• Work after-hours on-call for emergencies
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing ladders as required
• May assist Supervisor/Manager/Area Director with other tasks related to community operations
