Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in maintaining the community's facilities. Qualifications

• Three years of maintenance related experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on grounds and facilities, including mowing and basic upkeep.
• Repairs plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems as directed.
• Maintains fire prevention practices and safe operating procedures.
• Inspects and tests fire alarms and emergency systems; maintains logs.
• Prepares vacant rooms in rent-ready condition within 72 hours of move-out.
• Provides transportation for residents as needed and works with staff to ensure safety.
