Job summary

Monroe Group Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general building maintenance repairs and unit make-ready duties on empty units.

Responsibilities include handling electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, HVAC, and various maintenance tasks to ensure readiness of vacant apartments and adherence to Monroe Group standards. The role requires the ability to work assigned hours, a valid driver’s license, and the use of hand tools and maintenance equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of maintenance technician experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, drywall replacement and/or repair, painting, lock replacement, tile repairs, and HVAC/furnace repairs.
• Complete maintenance requests and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and monitor work.
• Maintain inventory and cost-effective operations for building systems.
• Respond to 24-hour emergency maintenance calls and on-call duties.
