Job summary

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to service and repair the property, both inside and outside. The role covers electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, plus HVAC maintenance and ground care.

The position requires 2+ years in related trades, valid Minnesota license, and readiness to obtain boiler and pool certifications within 90 days. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and able to operate common tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with minor electrical, basic plumbing and carpentry preferred.
• Must possess valid Minnesota Driver License; out-of-state license holders must obtain a Minnesota license within 30 days of hire.
• Boiler license and pool certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform upkeep within building and throughout property, including outside areas.
• Perform minor electrical repairs.
• Maintain HVAC system.
• Maintain plumbing, water and sewage systems.
• Perform carpentry duties.
• Assist with maintenance of grounds, including sod laying, moving, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging and raking.
• Assist with winter snow removal, including snow shoveling, plowing, sanding and salting sidewalks and parking areas.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
