Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks a B shift Maintenance Technician at the Sierra Distribution Center in Ashville, AL.

This role runs Friday–Sunday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm and requires technical training across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, conveyors, and electric forklifts. Qualified candidates bring two or more skilled areas, read schematics, and demonstrate problem-solving, with physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Technical training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, conveyors or related areas.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Two or more skilled areas preferred and prior maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics; troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components.
• Fabricate parts and perform minor carpentry or metalworking as needed.
• Respond to on-call issues and coordinate with teams to minimize downtime.
