Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and assets in a safe work environment. This role focuses on preventive maintenance for feed mill equipment and requires adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.

The candidate should have basic Windows/Excel skills, a mechanical aptitude, and be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. A forklift training certification and Alabama driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of industrial maintenance experience or completion of a Maintenance Training Program.
• Experience documenting work history on applications or resumes.
• Willingness to work a 2nd shift and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and upkeep on all feed mill equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues as needed.
• Assist in spare parts inventory control and procurement.
• Maintain records as required by Tyson Foods and regulatory agencies.
