Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment while upholding safety and Tyson policies. The role requires six months of industrial maintenance experience with potential PLC and motor control diagnostics responsibilities.

Shift: 2nd shift in the United States. The candidate must obtain PIT certification and possess basic computer skills. A valid driver's license is required, and overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• One year electrical job-related experience noted on the application or resume.
• Experience with PLC and motor control diagnostics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety rules.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Operate and maintain mobile pneumatic and circuit components.
• Welding on ferrous materials using oxy-fuel and plasma cutting.
• Climb, stand, bend, sit, and lift up to 70 lbs as required.
• Work in varying environmental conditions and overtime/weekends as needed.
• Communicate instructions clearly and follow Tyson policies.
• Complete required tasks after submitting your application.
