Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair plant equipment on the 2nd shift in the United States. The role emphasizes safe work practices, adherence to Tyson policies, and keeping equipment in good working condition.

Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, addressing equipment issues during shifts, and ensuring the work area stays clean. Candidates should be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and have Lock Out Tag Out

Qualifications

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during shift.
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
• Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping.
• Lock Out Tag Out certification required.
• Enrolled in a mechanical training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment.
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
• Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift.
• Handle all mechanical problems that may arise.
• Record keeping and attention to detail.
