Job summary

The Harrison Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to inspect and repair mechanical systems, electrical panels, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems to keep facilities running smoothly.

You will perform repairs, conduct routine maintenance, assist in budget planning, and work overtime as needed. A high school diploma and relevant certifications are preferred; CMRP is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC, building maintenance tech or relevant field a plus.
• CMRP certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace bulbs, repair panels).
• Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs as needed.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems for functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs.
• Perform general repairs (locks, windows) as needed.
• Undertake pest control activities.
• Carpentry, painting and other upkeep tasks as assigned.
