Job summary

Momentive is seeking a Maintenance Technician for first shift to join our facility's maintenance team. You will troubleshoot, install, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, including PLC-controlled and automation equipment, while ensuring safety and adherence to company standards.

The role requires hands-on skills with welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors, and instrumentation, along with the ability to work nights or weekends as needed and to operate plant equipment safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 5 years of maintenance experience with heavy equipment.
• Experience with power distribution, PLCs, motors, drives, and safety standards.
• Welding degree or 2 years welding experience preferred for light fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and OSHA guidelines; comply with company health and safety rules.
• Troubleshoot, install and maintain mechanical and electrical systems; document work in SAP.
• Operate lifting equipment and read electrical/instrument diagrams; diagnose issues and implement fixes.
