Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center in Samuelson Corners, IL, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair the facility, ensure safety and assist residents as needed.

The role requires performing skilled trades, operating power tools, and supporting on-call nights and winter snow crew. Full-time status and benefits apply, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm and some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Three years of maintenance experience in an institutional setting or similar.
• Trade school completion and/or experience in a skilled trade is a plus.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Implements maintenance procedures to meet residents' needs in compliance with regulations.
• Performs a wide range of tasks to assist residents, maintain property and safety.
• Takes work orders and follows directions from the Director of Facility Operations.
