Job summary

Ableserve is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day facility repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and related systems in a shopping center setting. You will support tenant and common-area maintenance, ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment, and contribute to preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Related maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Certification required for refrigerant handling.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, moving aids, and mechanical equipment (power washers, blowers, compressors).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, painting, flooring, and irrigation.
• Repair/maintain doors, windows, locks, gates, fencing, roofing, concrete, and pool/spa areas.
• Support apartment turns, including make-ready prep and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Complete service requests promptly and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure tools/equipment are in proper condition.
• Identify major repair needs and correct unsafe conditions immediately.
• Follow all safety procedures, use PPE, and comply with federal/state/local regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
