Job summary

Proper Beverage Company is seeking a Production Floater for its Kentwood, MI facility. The role supports multiple production areas on a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm–12am) to balance workloads and cover absences, ensuring smooth production flow.

Responsibilities include end-of-line support, depalletizer and forklift operations, quality coordination with QC, and general material stocking while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Prioritizes teamwork and adaptability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing or food/beverage production preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; able to learn multiple tasks quickly.
• Strong teamwork and communication; willing to shift tasks as needed.
• Understand basic safety and quality standards; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• End-of-Line Production Support: remove finished goods, label, count, palletize.
• Core Production Duties: manage depalletizer, operate forklift, assist during absences or bottlenecks.
• General Production Support: stock materials, monitor quality with QC, assist across shifts.
• Work Environment and Safety: follow SOPs, maintain sanitation, uphold safety policies.
• All other duties as assigned.
