Job summary

Proper Beverage Company in Kentwood, MI is seeking a Production Floater to support multiple production areas. This full-time role covers absences, balances workloads, and helps alleviate bottlenecks.

The position requires adaptability, teamwork, and working knowledge of several processes to keep production running smoothly. You'll work 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3pm–12am, and operate depalletizers and forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing or food/beverage production is preferred.
• Forklift experience and/or certification is preferred.
• Ability to learn multiple production tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible tasks and shifts as needed.
• Understand basic safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• End-of-line production support and pallet handling responsibilities.
• Operate depalletizer equipment and forklift to move materials.
• Fill in during absences to balance workloads and reduce bottlenecks.
• Assist with stocking materials to prevent production delays.
• Monitor and maintain production quality in coordination with QA.
• Collaborate with junior staff and supervisors to ensure efficiency.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies to maintain a safe workplace.
