Job summary

SURTECO NORTH AMERICA INC is seeking an Intermediate Plant Utility Operator in Jeannette, PA. This role trains across multiple production jobs to cover vacations and absences, filling in when needed to ensure continuous operation and quality material for customers.

The position entails working in a manufacturing environment, performing diverse tasks from mix to finish, with emphasis on safety and reliability. Training on-site and collaborating with the Shift Coordinator are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Complete orientation, safety training and skill verification.
• Properly fitted Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document fork lift and crane inspections.
• Clean up and maintain work area.
• Stay current on the job to maintain skills.
• Fill in for jobs where needed and qualified. The Shift Coordinator will request the tasks as necessary.
• The tasks may include but not limited to: Cleaning; Housekeeping; Painting; Mix Operator; Wind-up Operator; Mill Operator; Finishing department; Relief Operator; Edge Banding Operator; Color Room Operator.
