The role adheres to safety procedures, assists operators, monitors output, troubleshoots basics, and performs hand and power-tool tasks to maintain high-quality output. Training and cross-training are key parts of the role to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety procedures and wear PPE; support safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Set up and operate assigned workstations; load, catch, trim, wrap, band, assemble, and roll-form tasks.
• Perform material handling duties and move materials using manual or mechanical aids.
• Assist operators by monitoring machine output and reporting issues promptly.
• Complete production tasks using hand and power tools; maintain a clean, organized area.
• Train new hires on equipment, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure Quality Control at each work center and support corrective actions and feedback.
