Job summary

Wescon Controls, LLC in Oatville, Kansas, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diversified duties in our industrial plant, including building, installing and maintaining equipment, and performing preventative maintenance and repairs.

You will work with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and pneumatic systems, operate hand and power tools, complete work orders, assist contractors, and uphold safety and cleanliness in the workplace.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or trade certification.
Minimum of five years of experience in a maintenance role in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general maintenance.
PLC experience and HVAC and pneumatic experience.
Ability to use hand and power tools; MIG/TIG welding.
Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Installs, maintains and repairs machines and equipment in plant and related facilities.
Performs preventative maintenance on pumps, motors and hydraulic systems.
Performs maintenance requiring knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other trades.
Operates hand and power tools; fabricates parts as needed.
Completes work orders and paperwork for maintenance tasks.
Assists with contractors and subcontractors; ensures safety policies.
