Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a family-owned manufacturing company in Syracuse, NY. You will perform mechanical and millwright maintenance under guidance, assist with disassembly and major projects, and handle routine repairs.

This role requires a high school diploma or 3 years related experience, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to lift and stand for long periods. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in mechanical maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, or masonry.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing.
• Basic math, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and millwright maintenance under guidance of senior mechanics.
• Assist with equipment disassembly, reassembly, repairs, and major maintenance projects.
• Handle routine carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and facility repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubricate equipment, replace filters, and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Follow safety procedures and report faulty or damaged equipment.
