Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in New Britain, CT to support the Facilities Manager with maintaining production equipment and facility systems. The role demands mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, light fabrication, and welding across MIG, TIG, and stick processes.

Pay is $20–$25 per hour based on experience, with a Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. schedule. Requirements include independent work ability and basic Excel skills for logging equipment data.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial maintenance, mechanical repairs, or electrical troubleshooting.
• Welding and light‑fabrication experience preferred.
• Knowledge of motors, electrical controls, and production equipment.
• Ability to work independently and assist with a variety of facility‑maintenance needs.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery.
• Maintain blasting machines and other plant equipment.
• Perform light fabrication and MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Fabricate racks and exhaust fans.
• Wire new machines and install outlets.
• Repair shop lighting and complete general plant electrical work.
• Replace motors and perform electrical control wiring.
• Maintain HVAC systems, including filter and belt changes.
• Troubleshoot oven temperature and motor‑control systems.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs using Microsoft Excel.
