U.S. Facilities, Inc. in Newport News, Virginia area is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker to perform a combination of skilled equipment operations, preventive maintenance, and manual labor tasks under supervision.

The role includes carpentry and painting duties, reading work orders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using hand and power tools. Pre-employment fingerprinting, drug screening, and DMV checks are required, along with a valid Virginia driver’s license.

Competenze

• Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level; repair or replace damaged parts using hand tools.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel to surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers.
• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine requirements.
