Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance is seeking a General Trades Technician to perform maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades at facilities in the Atlanta area. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance, including work in tight spaces and on-call rotations.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety and quality. CMMS usage and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of building repairs and maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Valid driver's license and on-call availability expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
• Responds to service requests including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks.
• Performs preventive maintenance to keep systems in good condition.
• Operates power tools and maintains safe work practices.
• Keeps CMMS work orders up to date and participates in safety trainings.
