Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to serve as a Floating Registered Pharmacist across multiple pharmacy locations in Nebraska. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, administer immunizations where allowed, and support store teams in delivering high-quality health and wellness services.

This fast-paced, customer-focused role requires strong knowledge of OBRA '90, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required in Nebraska and pharmacy degree.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.
• Immunization administration certification or ability required.
• Experience counseling patients and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients per regulations.
• Assist with immunizations and maintain immunization records.
• Support inventory control, purchase orders, and pricing accuracy.
• Provide customer service across multiple Hy-Vee pharmacy locations.
• Deliver outreach and wellness programs to improve patient care.
• Step in for Pharmacy Manager in their absence and oversee staff.
• Ensure adherence to OBRA '90 and all state/federal rules.
