Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Floating Registered Pharmacist to support multiple Hy-Vee pharmacy locations. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and help each store deliver exceptional health and wellness services.

The role requires a current pharmacist license, a college degree, and ongoing CE credits. Immunization authority and MTM experience are preferred, with opportunities to mentor staff and partner with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with active license in the state
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or PharmD required
• Continuing education to keep license active

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions across multiple Hy-Vee locations
• Counsel patients and provide medication information
• Maintain regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OBRA 90) and quality assurance programs
• Assist inventory management and controlled substance inventory
• Collaborate with pharmacy teams and store leadership to promote wellness
