Job summary

Lex Innovation seeks a Director of Quality to lead three U.S. manufacturing sites in Shelton, Conn., with overarching responsibility for the QMS, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across power distribution assemblies, connectors, and cable systems.

You will drive KPI-based quality culture, manage CAPA and audits, and partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to embed quality ownership throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in quality leadership roles with multi-site oversight.
• Deep understanding of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, ITAR, and MIL-STD frameworks.
• Proven track record leading customer audits and CAPA programs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Quality Managers, Engineers, and Inspectors across three sites.
• Maintain QMS compliance and drive timely CAPA closure and preventive actions.
• Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate internal audits and ensure readiness for external inspections.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to integrate quality into daily work.
• Manage ITAR compliance and ensure proper handling of controlled data.
