Qualifications

• Must meet Washington State licensing requirements for a Program Supervisor or equivalent.
• Preferably 30 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related coursework.
• Experience in a licensed ECE setting in a management-level position.
• Strong knowledge of DCYF licensing regulations, Early Achievers, and best practices.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and support teaching staff.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Area Director to develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with guidelines.
• Support lead teachers in lesson planning, classroom setup, and instructional strategies.
• Model best practices in early childhood education through observations and feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum design and ensure alignment across multiple sites.
• Assist with planning and delivering professional development and staff training.
• Conduct regular classroom walkthroughs to assess quality and safety.
• Provide coaching and follow-up to ensure continuous improvement.
• Support onboarding and licensing compliance across sites.
• Travel regularly between preschool sites within Bellevue.
