Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• High school diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling after venipuncture to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and a positive image to patients and staff.
